During the period generally referred to as the riding season, our section holds six road safety runs. These are:

• The Quaker Run
• The Sunset Run
• Eric’s Evening Excursion (EEE)
• The Chairman’s Run
• The Baydale Run
• The Anniversary Run

The Sunset Run & EEE are both evening events of around 45miles. The others take place on Sundays and are on average 100 miles.

These are generally untimed and are competitive only in respect of observation of the highway code and a quiz, based on questions of road safety and motorcycling history.

Our runs are open to VMCC eligible motorcycles & 3 wheelers.

Each run has overall performance and class awards, which are presented at our annual dinner dance in January.
