That was a little test, but the only way I could do it was load it to the site first, but there must be another way.

That could be Mr Yorkshire Geordie's doing.  It needs to be re-instated properly

Please tell me, sir.

How does one "re-insert properly" ?

I inserted it once and I thought I did it properly.

When I realised I hadn't inserted it properly I asked you to insert it properly for me.

I'm new to this malarkey of inserting properly.

It's a lot harder when I've been polishing it and I thought it would go in easily, but it still won't insert properly.

Is it my method that's wrong or am I using the wrong equipment?

Please enlighten

I think you may need a "Gallon" of "Tartan Paint" and a "Giggleing Shaft" to do it propley ? then again what do i know i still use "Feet & Inches" on my old 8hp Brough Superior !

Mr YG, If you let me have the pics or give me the URL where they are presently inserted, I will insert them for you. I don't offer this service to everyone you appreciate.

I uploaded 1 pic to a "New" photo gallery but the system will not allow you to add any more ?

The Chairmans Run,Holland and Beamish TT have a "Edit Albums" & "Add Photo" section on the top and when you want to add a pic to a new album you or Yorkshire Geordies album it wont allow you to do that !

Me thinks there is a "Gremlin" in the system ? the only other thing you can do is upload your pics ? sorry pic as in one at a time under hundreds of seperate album titles ? not a good idea as i tried to delete my first album and found you cant,as they aint no way to do that as well

Ok i created the album V.M.C.C Motor Cycles to show my machine but thats going to be well boring if folk cant add there B.S.A Bantam ? or Vincent Firefly as well

If anyone can remedy this fault ? please do so and we can start again, you can even delete my pics/albums ! if you want as long as it works in the longrun

I think it's sorted. I've added YG's pics. You can try adding more but keep the size down to 640x480.

YG you can try adding captions to the pics I've added.

Had a go to upload a new pic ! but no joy,I tried to resize the pics down to 640x480 and they were to grainy/ruff looking to post, the best image size for quality i could get was 1024x768 ! and even that was just so so quality !

Thats most likely my fault as all my pics are shot with my Camera are at 4416x3312 which is ok for my "Flickr" web page but way to big for hear

TBird, we're discussing the Phot Gallery and how insertions are made and  descriptions shown and what size is best for insertion.

It's obviously a bit beyond a newbie to computers

Esoteric - like the flat tankers and them with pedals.

You have to know what you're doing to get the best from them.

True ! or in "Layman's" terms "You Dont run a Rolls~Royce" on paraffin ? or T.V.O ? as the older members will remember sticking in there petrol tanks in the 50's/60's

Anyhow i stand no chance of Inserting or Insertions of pics with my new Canon at 5616x3744 pixles !  Now were

did i put that old box brownie ?   PS folks if you thought about going to Penrith Autojumble today and decided not to ! dont worry it was Crap ! ok for Jap bikes, toilet rolls and tools that go "Snap in the Night" or the first time you use them

Shame realy as it used to be a very good jumble a while ago

Many of the pics on here are 640x480 or 1024x768 (including DP's Speed Twin on the home page) & look fine. It shouldn't make them grainy. You can re- size a photo by opening it in Microsoft Office Picture Manager if you have it or Paint Shop Pro or one of the utillities that often come with cameras. Alternativley E-mail some to me & I will do it, not too many at once though cos it will not send if too big

BTW wot's TVO?

TVO is "Tractor Vapourising Oil" - it isn't generally available now and its nearest equivalent is a mixture of petrol/paraffin. Not quite diesel and certainly not petrol.
