VMCC South Durham

Hi all,

As it seems there are no southern end of Durham runs this weekend I thought I'd mention that the Scott Owners Club are having the annual northern meeting at the top of Sutton Bank on Saturday 3rd at midday.  There is then a ride from there to Lord Stones cafe at the top of Cartlon Bank, and then home/pub/recovery vehicle depending on your wish and luck.

Just follow the smell and smoke.....  might see you there!

Sorry  smokey, most of us are at The Norhumbrian Garthering, well a weekend do is a better bet for a bit of carousing and hooliganism.Apart from which there'll be southern puffs to ridicule and Mike Caruthers is Buying the beer all weekend. You'll just have to inhale all that blue pollution yourself. See you around. Brian.

Better than meeting a few other Scott owners, Rich, why not pack your gear and head up to Wooler for the weekend - Mr Carruthers will undoubtedly be greatly pleased and happy to purchase a pot of ale for the likes of you and his other friends. Maybe even with his own money. (There's always  a first)

I'd love to buy the beer all weekend, but Linda wants me to stop all this sort of extravagance, like buying drinks for everybody and just buy my own for a change.  You know how I like being the kittymeister. Oh well I shall just have to suffer.

Mike, let Linda be in charge of her kitty and you hold onto your swelling wallet.

If Linda wants to buy the second round I feel sure none of us will complain.

Shame, I tried to bring culture and style to you lot, but you just go up to wooler to get grimy and drink ale all weekend.  Bandit country that is, but I've heard you'll be safe on bikes as the yokels are not familiar with such mechanical devices but may try to put spells on you:P

I find it much more fun watching a dozen Scotters sweating and swearing as they collectively try to get their bikes started.  At least we'll have Sutton Bank to shove them off down.

Also who's idea was it to book the Beamish trial the same day at the Saltburn Sprint or vice versa, I wanted to do both!

Enjoy your weekend living like cavemen, I've heard the Scott OC has booked bikini clad soapy bike washers for the day, unlucky you're going to miss it......I'll just have to enjoy them for you.
