I hope tomorrow goes well for ALL concerned (Riders and organisers). I should hate for anyone to come a cropper and end up in hospital. The weather forecast is canny with possible showers PM so don't forget the sun tan lotion. It is compulsory that you have a pint at Allenheads for me, please. Martyn

Well done to all organisers and helpers for the BTT. Especially all the entrants on road tyres who attempted the first green lane section. It was utter carnage and I'm sorry I didn't have my video camera. never seen so many bikes and riders laid in ditches and ruts:/ After pulling two out from under their bikes, and getting a beached BSA 3 wheeler going I realised if you are daft enough to be in a mud bog on road tyres then off you go. I expect the drop-out rate was very high, any got any numbers? Cheers, Rich my trusty Cub got through okay though!

Well Diablo, surprisingly enough there was not one entrant who did not get off any of the lanes by themselves. One or two buffoons tried to go through the deep rut on the first lane. they spent time drying variuos parts and their bikes before proceeding damply.A few had to go back down High House Lonan, but not many. Surely a testament to man and machine or stupidity of the highest order. In fact only 5 breakdowns in total as far as i know, unless we missed some and find their weathered skeletons next year.
