What a surprising picture in this month's magazine (page 6). A superb photograph of a 1913 Triumph C with the GEM Trophy winner of 2011 standing, forlornly, with a nigh empty pint glass. Please take matters in hand for subsequent pictures and charge glasses to the brim - and bi telt, man! Congratulations Mr Smith on your success, even out pointing the previous winner into second place, a stupendous accomplishment, Sir. Martyn

You need to go to specsavers. It's page 68 in my mag. He's obviously waiting for me to borrow some money from little helper to buy him another. Unsuccessfully I seem to remember. A good run though, Robbo took us through the pit villages - again. One of them twice!!

You obviously found my deliberate error, Mike. If you want a lend of some cash with which to buy ale and alcohol I can provide some - on generous terms. Martyn

Get a drink out either of them, you must ge joking they are both as tight as each other. He was complaining last Friday night because he was drinkiing in a big round and he was frightened he had to pay twice, there was 3 of us! Then he got the last bus home to save £1, also in case he had to buy another drink, IN THE BIG ROUND, He and his little helper have even gone on holiday so that he does not have to have a party for his 65th birthday and pay for it. DID YOU GET THAT HIS 65TH BIRTHDAY. DON;T TELL ANYONE IT IS HIS 65TH BIRTHDAY.
