I've sent my entry in. Has/is anyone else? :/

Yes, I see what you mean, the jokes section seems quite popular, perhaps we should have one. The content might not go down well with some of our bretheren, although most of them probably don't look at the site anyway.

BTW Linda is not pushing, only trying to get her leg over - the seat that is, she forgot to bring the steps. Have you ever tried to push start a BMW brick - not easy, you're likely to end up with the bike on top of you

Nearly - but I did buy a 30 bob battery charger which actually works after cleaning out the spiders and a bit of soldering. :D

Now then, could I make a profit by selling it on ebay I wonder

You would of course have to calculate the cost of the solder (probably liberated from somewhere) and the electricity used by the soldering iron (probably paid for by his little pusher) . So no cost ,all profit, your turn to buy the beer , Hooray. Two chances of that, no chance and no f------ chance!

Some of the 2013 Felix Burke photographs I took can be seen on my Picasa album here:-

https://picasaweb.google.com/martynwestont100/VMCCFelixBurke2013

The weekend weather was dry but FFFFrrreeezzzing. There was snow on the hills - but we left it alone.

John's BSA expired three quarters of the way through the trial on Sunday, but the sparkplug hadn't been machined and he'd had it from new!

Brian is now the permanent starter of recalcitrant BSAs having had loads of practice on mine on Sunday.

Mr Beale's Rex shed its belt on Saturday as he was showing us all the pleasantness of the area. He resorted to using his Huntmaster on Sunday.

Undoubtedly the results will be posted in due course.
