About Me

Into bikes for 35 years, started schoolboy trials around 1978. Currently have four bikes, latest is a restoration of a 1969 Suzuki A100-3, bought hoping I will get an entry into the 2015 Beamish trial.

Dec 2014:

Dating letter back for the A100. Its actually a 1966 model.

Jan 2015: Well the DVLA have forwarded my V5 application to the VAT man

Feb then March: More letter ping pong

6th Mar: Finally the A100 is on the NOVA database so swansea can issue an age related V5.

Postscript: 10th March: Got my entry for the 2015 event . Yippee!

In the meantime found a 78 MZ TS250/1 that had been off the road since 84. Its now taxed and MOT'd.

Som if I'm lucky enough to get a ride in the next Beamish TT i will have a choice of bikes

Update 2017 April;

Newest bike : fully restored W reg KE175 lurid green.

Last year;

Honda CL350 1972 running well,

2015: Update 2017: Suzuki A100 just had engine rebuild and new brakes/suspension for the MOT

Went to watch the start of the 2014 Beamish and was instantly hooked on the format, quality and general friendliness of the event. Hoping for an entry 2015. (form already submitted)
