Keep an eye on the forthcoming events on the home page, the trials are sometimes announced without a lot of notice at the moment so it's worth coming to the meetings if you can. I used to fall off a bit, usually in some water, when I used to participate but was always good fun.

Hi Malcolm, Welcome to the section. At this time of year there's not a lot going on in the way of runs, apart from the anniversary social run in December, often not that well attended usually due to the weather, but there is always a run to High Force on Boxing Day which is not too far away for you as long as you're not snowed in. Our club night at Middleton St George Cricket Club on the 10th Nov is for the Beamish Trophy Trial award presentation, the organizer of the trial Tom Norman is a member of the Panther Owners Club and owns several of these "perfected motorcycles" Hope to see you soon, we're not too far away, about 42 miles, nice ride on a summers night. Hi Scott welcome to the forum. Some of our member have an interest in mopeds and earlier this year we managed after the lockdown a coast to coast run for older and small machines in conjunction with the Northumbrian Section. I'll ask around next club night if anyone knows of any suitable machines for sale.

Hello Mr P. Yes it will be good to get out on the bikes again. We are expecting that the Quaker will go ahead, but it will likely take the form of a couple of social runs Saturday and Sunday to designated meeting places. It's all dependent on Boris's lock-down recovery going to plan. You may like to join one of our zoom meetings, the next one being Thursday 18th at 20.00. I've added a members area on the main site menu. You will be able to find your name and once logged in you should be able to access your profile. Seems to be due to some updates to the forum app that I wasn't aware of.

OK will look in to it. A bit odd. The site used to act strangely with Firefox at one time but that seems to fixed.

Hi Calvin, Welcome to the forum, it's a bit quiet at the moment. I've had a quick look at the members list and I can't seem to find you either - that's technology for you. Nice looking bike at a dull looking day in Whitby. Regarding its history, you may be able to find the original registration records for Cumbria if they still exist although they will be specific to an area / town I would imagine. You may be able to obtain factory despatch records from Allen House which may give some info regarding the dealer it went to. Hope this helps - Mike

If it's a few pics you can add a link if you have put the pics on a website like flkr, or send me the link, or just email me the pics and I'll sort it and put them on the Presentation Night page
